About this site

Horóscopo Chino Hoy is the website of the Chinese Zodiac app, made by Alberto Lanchas, an independent developer in Spain. It explains Chinese astrology for what it is: a living cultural tradition, read for entertainment and not as a science.

The texts for each sign (personality, strengths, weak spots), the compatibility chart and the 2026 Summary are the same ones the app shows.

Years, Elements and energies come from the Chinese sexagenary cycle (ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches). Chinese New Year dates are those of the official Chinese calendar; from 2026 onwards the published real dates are used.

What is said about 2027 is tradition: the zodiac year (本命年), clash (冲), harm (害), punishment (刑), break (破), the harmonies (六合 and 三合) and the five-element cycle. The app does not publish 2027 predictions and this site does not make them up.

For entertainment only. Predictions are not professional advice or statements about the future.
